ANOR REFINES ITS STRATEGY TO IMPROVE ROAD SAFETY

In order to make its contribution to improve road safety, the Standards and Quality Agency (ANOR), organized in Yaoundé on 27 November 2018, together with the Ministry of transport, a workshop on a draft action plan for the standardization of transport sector and road safety.

Under the chairmanship of the Deputy General Manager of ANOR, the proceedings were attended by several actors of road transport sector, an opportunity for stakeholders to access progress made in accordance with the objectives provided in the action plan.

Furthermore, it was agreed to make additional recommendations to enrich the action plan and speed up its implementation process.

At the end of proceedings, participants committed to strengthening the collaboration between stakeholders with the purpose of enhancing government policy in terms of road safety.
