EVALUATION MEETING OF THE PILOT PHASE ON PRE-SHIPMENT CONFORMITY ASSESSMENT PROGRAMME OF GOODS IMPORTED INTO CAMEROON

Members of the inter-ministerial committee on monitoring and assessment of the implementation of the Pre-shipment Conformity Assessment Programme of Imported Goods to Cameroon (CISE-PECAE) met on December 21, 2018. The session was chaired by Mr. INDONGO LARET, Director of Quality Division in the Ministry of Mines, Industry and Technological Development (MINMIDT).

The purpose of this meeting was to review the end of the pilot phase. Participants therefore, had to focus on the achievements, difficulties and the possibility to improve on the programme.

At the end of the working session, one of the main recommendations was to extend the pilot phase for one more year in order to complete the implementation of different procedures and programme tools involved.
